Tight Seal – Casement windows provide a tight seal against the frame which contribute to energy efficiency and better insulation.
Crank Mechanism – Casement windows have a crank mechanism to open and close the window. This allows easy operation and allows you to open it to the required amount.
Hinges – Casement windows allows you to have hinges on one side. They can either be on the side (Left or Right) or the top. The placement of the hinge is dependent on your Functional requirements.
Security – Casement windows have a multiple locking point along the frame which makes it more secure.
Ventilation – Trickle vents can be added allowing fresh air to circulate the room without having to fully open any windows.
Turn Function – This allows the entire window to open inwards like a casement window except a casement window opens outwards. It also allows more ventilation and fresh air.
Tilt Function – This allows the top of the window to just tilt inwards whilst the bottom remains in place. This allows a lot more ventilation and fresh air without the a security risk of the whole window being open.
Tight Seal – Tilt & Turn windows have a tight seal when in a full closed position against the frame which contribute to energy efficiency and better insulation.
Security – Tilt & Turn windows are equipped with multiple locking point enhancing the security. When in the tilt position, they provide a secure option for large ventilation without compromising on security.
Space Saving – Tilt & Turn windows have two advantages on space saving options. Tilt Function have large ventilation when you are restricted for internal or external space. Turn Function the window opens inwards for limited exterior space.
Panes – Sash window, each panel is made from multiple small panes of glass in a grid pattern which was the way windows were made before the widespread use of large sheets of glass.
Aesthetic Appeal – Sash windows are valued for their traditional look and architectural style from Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian era.
Ventilation Control – Sash windows allow flexible control by adjusting height openings to create required fresh air.
Modern variation – Sash windows can now be made from one single pane of glass allowing better visibility. They have sliding mechanism which have rollers and glides which enable the sash panes to slide with ease. They are also designed with weather-stripping features to create a tight seal.
